I was thrilled to participate in a panel discussion on Provenance recently for the Association of Women Art Dealers. The provenance of artworks is a complex topic. We covered points such as how provenance is established and by whom, how provenance affects value, and how provenance is related to authenticity.
Elise Arnoult Miller brings more than thirteen years of auction house, gallery and art advisory experience to her consulting business. She earned her BA from the University of Houston and studied art history at the Sorbonne in Paris.
Specializing in American and European Modern and Contemporary works, she is energized by her love of art and by the satisfaction derived from locating exceptional works of art for her clients. In addition to her art consulting business, she is an appraiser of fine art and an independent curator.
