Elise Arnoult Miller brings over twenty years of experience in the art world to her advisory. After gaining a breadth of experience in auction house, museum and gallery environments, she launched Arnoult Fine Art Consulting in 2010. Her education includes a BA from the University of Houston, and art history coursework at the Sorbonne in Paris. She completed her Appraisal Studies at NYU, and is a Certified Member of The Appraisers Association of America. She is also an independent curator, as well as an advisor to artists and galleries.
Specializing in American and European Modern, Postwar, and Contemporary works, Elise is energized by her love of art and by the satisfaction derived from locating exceptional works of art for her clients. Her training as an appraiser makes her acutely aware of condition, provenance, and market values when selecting works for a collection.
Elise has served on the Museum Collectors Advisory Committee at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. She serves on the Advisory Board of PrintMatters Houston, is a member of the Menil Society, as well as the Association of Women Art Dealers (AWAD), the Professional Organization of Women in the Arts (POWarts), and is a current member and former Chapter Leader of ArtTable (the foremost professional organization dedicated to advancing the leadership of women in the visual arts). Arnoult Fine Art Consulting has exhibited at the Texas Contemporary Art Fair.
