identifying exceptional acquisitions for discerning collectors
Art Advisory - How it works
A trusted advisor is an essential tool for new and seasoned collectors alike.
Although each collector has unique aesthetics and goals, the process is consistent.
-
We believe the best collections are born from collaboration. During our initial meetings, we focus our time on understanding your tastes, goals, and lifestyle, ensuring every acquisition feels personal and meaningful.
-
Drawing on a robust network of trusted galleries, auction houses, and private dealers, we present a selection of artwork of the highest quality for review during in-person or remote meetings.
-
We perform all of the essential research and vetting, ensuring every piece meets the highest standards of quality. A market analysis provides data-driven insights, guiding smart acquisitions.
-
Acting as an advocate for our clients, we negotiate purchase terms with integrity and transparency. We then facilitate shipping, insurance, framing, installation, and any needed conservation for a seamless experience.
Acquisitions
Backed by an extensive network of galleries, auction houses, and private dealers, we are able to offer our clients unparalleled access to artworks, including rare and coveted works. Arnoult Fine Art has placed works by modern masters such as Picasso, Leger, Matisse, Renoir, and Monet, as well as pop artists Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein and countless works by contemporary artists from around the globe.
We believe that art is more than a special purchase—it can be a reflection of personal taste, a cultural statement, and often, a legacy. Recognizing the unique motivations of each client, we provide tailored advice to ensure acquisitions resonate aesthetically, emotionally, and financially. Whether you’re expanding an existing collection or making your first significant purchase, our approach prioritizes clarity, trust, and enjoyment in the collecting process.
-
We specialize in working with private collectors and provide personal service during every step of the process. Because of our more than twenty years of experience in the art world, we can provide our clients with an objective and a critical eye when making recommendations. Acquiring high-value or “blue-chip” works requires a high level of due diligence. This segment is a specialty of AFA. In some cases, our most valuable advice relates to what not to purchase. Our thorough, honest approach has saved clients hundreds of thousands of dollars.
We help clients develop or expand sophisticated, high-quality collections with a focus on lasting value and enjoyment.
Select Divestments
When it comes time to deaccession a work, we begin with an in-depth analysis of the market for the subject work. This understanding allows us to recommend the appropriate sales channels for maximum benefit, whether that be auction, private sale, or gallery consignment. We then manage negotiations, contracts, and transfer logistics with discretion and efficiency.
